Thienny recently returned from a trip to the Center for Biofilm Engineering at Montana State University. She was learning some new methods for growing biofilms in the lab of Phil Stewart. Here she is, hard at work!

Shannon Hinsa, one of the graduate students in the lab, recently presented a poster at the Molecular Plant-Microbe Interaction meeting in Madison, WI. Shannon was an undergraduate at UW-Madison.
