OToole Lab News
May 23, 2004
The lab just completed the 3rd Annual O'Toole Lab Retreat. We spent four days on Cape Cod doing science, fishing and enjoying the beaches in Mashpee. Our retreat, inspired by the retreats during my time in the Kolter Lab as a post-doc, is set-up so that each person has 2 hours to present. The first hour covers the past year and the idea of the second hour is to plan for the year ahead. There is also some down time to visit the beach, go fishing or just relax. Here are some pictures from the year's retreat which went from May 18-21.
Here is the site of the retreat in Mashpee on Cape Cod.

...and the weather was nice enough that we even had a session outside, with a presentation by Rob Shanks.

We also had some downtime, with dinners outside....

The lab also had a surprise Bday party for me!
