A minireview by recently graduated Ph.D. student Alicia Ballok was just published online.  This review covers how two different bacterial toxins, Cif (the topic of Alicia's thesis) and AprA, alter ion homeostasis in the airway, and likely contribute to chronic infections in cystic fibrosis.

Katie Price, a post-doc in the lab, had her abstract chosen for a talk at the 2013 North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference.  She'll be talking about polymicrobial infections in CF, and the model system she's developed to study those infections in the lab.
