I just returned from the BLAST (Bacterial Locomotion and Signal Transduction) meeting in New Orleans, where I served as the first-ever keynote speaker. Check out the logo on the left. The meeting featured many talks from students and postdocs, as well as young faculty. I definitely recommend going, and bring a student or two! Check out the website here: http://blast.ucsc.edu/
